55,000 Farmers March Into Mumbai During Night To Avoid Troubling Students Appearing In Exams

After walking with blistered feet and injuries in the blazing sun for about 180 kilometres over the last six days from Nashik, tens of thousands of farmers entered Mumbai on Sunday. The arterial roads of India's financial capital turned into a sea of red. Reports suggest that the number of protesting farmers swelled from 35,000 to 55,000 over the day. The protesters who reached Sion yesterday were to march towards their destination, Azan Maidan, this morning.
